Friday last week saw the arrival of our annual careers fair. When I arrived on site before 8am we already had participants in the sports hall setting up. The atmosphere in the sports hall throughout the day showed that all those months of planning, what seemed like thousands of emails and a few sleepless nights, were 100% worth it. The participants said that our students had come well prepared for the event having a wide variety of questions to ask and showing that they are continually striving to dream big and achieve.
I feel that with an event like this it is important that all students, from year 7 through to year 13, attend to ask questions, to become aware of careers and routes they might never have known about otherwise. For this reason, every year, I am always looking to find new businesses, colleges and universities to invite to join us for the next careers fair. If you would like to join us in 2027, get in touch.
