Which jobs are advertised the most in the local areas and how many of the local residents actually have the skills needed to fill them?
Figures from the Office for National Statistics from 2024 show the following.
Dartford
In August 2024, there were more online job adverts than the UK average in Dartford
In August 2024, the number of live job adverts in Dartford rose to 4.8 per 100 working-age residents (aged 16 to 64 years), from 3.7 adverts in August 2023.
This was higher than the UK average of 3.4 adverts per 100 working-age residents in August 2024.

The most-advertised occupations in Dartford
Delivery drivers and couriers were the most commonly advertised jobs in Dartford.
In Quarter 2 (April to June) 2024, adverts for delivery drivers and couriers made up 2.3% of all live adverts in Dartford, the highest percentage of any single occupation.
